We are committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of our customers, visitors to our web site, exhibition stand(s) and potential customers that we meet during our day to day activities. We want you to know that Drax (UK) Ltd does not sell, rent or trade email lists with other companies and businesses for marketing purposes. In this Privacy Policy, we’ve provided lots of detailed information on when and why we collect your information, how we use it, the limited conditions under which we may disclose it to others and how we keep it secure.

Types of data we collect

General

We will record the following information, when available, to enable us to manage the provision of goods and services that you may have bought from us, to enable us to promote our goods and services, to provide commentary on relevant topics which we believe will be of interest to you and to record your contact preferences:

  • Your land line number
  • Your mobile telephone numbers
  • Your email addresses
  • Notes relating to any contact we have had with you

Website Cookies

When visiting our websites, Cookies are used to collect information about how you interact with our website and allow us to remember you. We use this information in order to improve and customize your browsing experience and for analytics and metrics about our visitors both on this website and other media.

When you use Drax Training Wi-Fi we may collect data about:

  • Your device
  • the volume of data which you use
  • the websites and applications which you access
  • your usage by access time, frequency and location.

 

Mailing Lists

As part of the download process for certain pieces of content, such as whitepapers and e-books, we collect personal information as submitted by you. We use that information to personalise your experience on our website, to keep you informed about products and services you’ve asked us to tell you about or that we think you may find of interest, to contact you if we need to obtain or provide additional information, to check our records are correct and to check every now and then that you’re happy and satisfied via feedback surveys. We will never rent or trade email lists with other organisations and businesses.

Drax (UK) Ltd use HubSpot as our customer relationship management (CRM) system. We hold the information of existing customers along with other individuals who have consented to having their personal information held. Using HubSpot we gather statistics around email opening and interactions with embedded links to help us monitor the effectiveness of and improve our communications. Products and services

When you purchase a product or services from us your name, Company address data, email and contact number will be stored in our CRM system, HubSpot, and our accounts system, Encore. Please be assured that we do not share your personal details with any other company without your consent. The need to keep customer details will be reviewed regularly and customers who have not purchase goods or services from Drax (UK) Ltd within the last three years will be assumed to have opted out of any communications unless they have specifically requested to receive information.

 

Third Parties

We may share anonymised personal information with other organisations, particularly with trade associations to further improve our products and services.

Many of the events that Drax (UK) Ltd participate in are held or run by related organisations, for example IHEEM, NAHFO and the FIA. We will let them know about general needs and wants within the industry but never share your name or contact details with them.

Access to your personal information

Under the General Data Protection Regulation you have a number of important rights free of charge, including rights to:

  • fair processing of information and transparency over how we use your use personal information
  • access to your personal information and to certain other supplementary information that this Privacy Policy is already designed to address

How we protect your personal data

Your data will be held within our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and our accounts system.

The software that operates these systems are GDPR compliant in themselves and data storage is either within the EU or within countries that comply with GDPR rules.

Access to information requires the use of a personal password and in most cases, is encrypted.
All information is held within ‘Cloud’ servers meaning that the use of portable storage devices is generally not required.

Staff members agree to comply with this privacy notice and are held responsible for the security of their own mobile devices. Regular audits are conducted to ensure that staff members are complying with this notice.

Any loss or theft of data will be notified to the ICO within the appropriate timescales.

Changes to this Privacy Notice

This privacy notice will be reviewed annually from the date of this notice.
